The death of trainer Leon Erasmus in a motor car accident on Sunday has left a pall over South African horseracing
Submitted false or misleading registration of ownership documents
Mr Erasmus was charged with a contravention of Rule 73.2.3 in that a specimen taken from the horse CAPTAIN ALI, prior to the running of the 4th race at the Vaal Racecourse on 14 May 2015, was found to contain the prohibited substance Caffeine, a prohibited substance in terms of Rule 73.4
