Some excellent racing on Sunday and while only a small field will head to the start for race 9, the Open Stakes mile looks an even affair and a tough one for punters.
A rare August feature with the running of the Causeway Classic and the Group 3 race certainly brightens an otherwise standard fare of Poly and turf racing.
There was a unique South African connection in the background as the Ralph Beckett-trained Bluestocking charged to victory under Rossa Ryan to win the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe on Sunday
