Refering to the “Cock-Tales and Racing” mailbag in the Sporting Post of Friday 3rd February2012 and would like to apologise for some of the comments made by certain Panel Members who are chosen because of their intimate knowledge of Racing.
LANCE BENSON: Words and fragmented good intention aplenty. In twenty years from now, the horseracing landscape will look very different to the way it looks today.
It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
There’s lots more to play for!
