Tuesday-Vaal Moves To Turffontein

Racetimes remain unchanged

The 4Racing team have advised that Tuesday’s Vaal race meeting has been moved to the Turffontein Standside Track.

Vaal had 28mm of rainfall in the last 7 days, with 23mm falling in the last 24 hours.

The pen reading is currently sitting at 30 with more rainfall forecast for Monday night, and another 40 percent chance of showers come Tuesday.

Turffontein had 7mm over the last 7 days, with 1mm in the last 24 hours.

The pen reading is 23 with a 30 percent chance of thundershowers forecast for Tuesday.

In view of this, the racemeeting scheduled for 16 May 2023 has been moved from the Vaal to the Turffontein Standside.

Distance changes as follows :

  • Races 1 to be run over 1160m
  • Race 2 to be run over 1160m
  • Race 3 to be run over 1600m
  • Race 4 to be run over 1600m

Voluntary scratchings will close at 08h00 Tuesday.

Race times remain the same.
