Van Zyl’s Forward Spell Continues

The first race at Hollywoodbets Greyville is off at 12h35

The new week starts off with an eight-race programme at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the polytrack. There is another chance to win with the Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge which is free to play. The first is due off at 12h35.

The consistent Forward Spell – a big runner today (Pic – Gold Circle)

Gavin van Zyl saddles Forward Spell in Race 7. He was an easy winner of his last start over 2000m on this course. He quickened up well, moved up and won easier than the official margin suggests.

He received a four-pound penalty for that victory and against similar opposition, he should take a power of beating.

Beechurst from the Garth Puller yard represents decent each way value in Race 5. He has been taking on stronger company since shedding his maiden tag.

The son of Rafeef takes a drop in class and has dropped to a competitive rating. He jumps from a good draw of two and with Robert Khathi in the saddle, he can return to winning ways.
