Will It Be Presley’s Way Today?

The first is due off @ 12h30

Racing takes place on the Turffontein Inside track this afternoon and eight races are carded.

The first is due off at 12h30 with the lucky last set for 16h30.

Trainer Johan Janse van Vuuren sends out Presley in Race 3 and he is the best bet on the programme. He produced a decent debut effort over this distance on the Standside course. He was slow into stride, took time to find his feet but the way he stayed on at the finish was encouraging.

It must be noted that Chocolate Bomb has won again since and the second horse has also won since. The son of Oratorio would have gained from the experience and if not too green around the turn, he can win a race of this nature.

Unzen from the Robbie Sage takes his place in Race 5. He produced an eye-catching comeback run over 1000m on this course. The way he stayed on over a distance short of his best was encouraging.

The son of Erupt will love the rise to 1200m and he should strip much fitter. He does meet a competitive field but has the class to notch up his third career victory.

Please note: Race 8 will be run over 2600m
