650 000 PA’s In Bin – And Not A Word

Why no race review - at the least?

Why not even a race review or a simple communication?

That has to be the poser for shell-shocked Scottsville Place Accumulator punters after the opening leg on Saturday saw a minority group holding tickets for a minimum dividend of R46.

In a rocket of a result, Craig Zackey brought the unfancied first-timer Grecian Landing through for a good win from the Craig Eudey pair of Eetee and Jayden’s Shreya – the stable swinger paid R342-50

Riding Eetee, the young apprentice Yuzae Ramzan – having his fourth race ride – was all over the place (we learn that his saddle slipped) and twice hampered the more fancied Corinne Bestel-trained Luneberg. The latter, in the hands of senior rider Bernard Fayd’herbe, ran a dirty fourth for PA punters, finishing 2,50 lengths behind Eetee.

Despite the knockout blow with 650 000 PA combinations dead and buried, and the clear interference – whether it was of consequence or not – there was not even a bleat in the form of a race review.

Enquiries reveal that the Stipes were of the opinion that there was no ways that the fourth horse could have beaten the second horse.

Maybe!

But let’s improve the communication so that we can at least have some fun when losing our hard earned cash!
