Snaith Captains – Include Them In Pick 6

Scottsville Pick 6 to reach R3,5 million

The Scottsville Pick 6 is expected to reach R3,5 million today.

Snaith Racing have made their thoughts on their four Scottsville runners – all daughters of Captain Al –  available to assist punters with structuring their bets.

All four Snaith charges run in the Pick 6 and Jackpot.

Recent Scottsville debut winner Miss Florida runs in the Gr1 Allan Robertson Championship – the fifth race.

They suggest that she be included as the race looks wide open.

Unbeaten in two starts and a recent course-and-distance winner, Somewhere In Time runs in the same race. She is described as a smart filly  – ‘it’s an extremely competitive field and should be included’.

The Snaith pair of Juniper Spring and Snowdance (full sisters) run in the SA Fillies Sprint – the seventh race.

They are hoping for a place with the 3yo Juniper Spring but note that it is an ‘extremely strong field’.

Stable star and the highest rated galloper in the race, the year older Snowdance is said to be doing particularly well and ‘will run well despite coming off a long break’. The champion team suggest that ‘she will be right in the shakeup’.

The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 13h35.

Kindly note that the carryover quartet originally advertised as being run on race 9, has been amended to race 8 – the Tsogo Sun Sprint, which is off at 16h05.

The carryover of R100 000 is expected to boost the pool to R500 000 in a very tricky handicap. A decent dividend is on the cards.
