Mike de Kock speaks to James Goodman about the Vodacom Durban July and explains why he kept Hawwaam at Summerveld, rather than sending him back to Joburg.

He also says that Anton Marcus is probably riding the smart 3yo.

“He rides him at work every day – and he hasn’t told me he is not riding Hawwaam. Maybe he should make an official statement,” says the champion trainer.
