The former KZN-based Niklaas van Wyk 53 rated maiden takes on some 6 and 7 time winners in the second race, an MR 58 Handicap and is reported to be working very well.

The first race, also the Bipot opener, is off at 12h20.

The second is the Place Accumulator opener and it jumps at 12h50.

Temperatures are forecast to reach 35 degrees this afternoon.
