The son of Silvano , a winner of 6 of 7 starts with earnings of over R5,6 million, has not run in 23 weeks since beating Twist Of Fate in the Daily News 2000.

He is likely to travel to the Cape for their feature season in the next few weeks.

He will be partnered by Anton Marcus in the eighth race, a Pinnacle Stakes – run at 16h40 – over what should be a too short 1200m.

The Sporting Post Value Bet, Sean Tarry’s Chimichuri Run looks a likely winner and will have benefited from his recent outing when a close fifth in the Joburg Spring Challenge.

In race 4, number 11 Friends Forever, has his first run under the name Seeunexttuesday.

There are nine races on the card. The first is off at 12h35.
