Jockey Denis Schwarz, who took a terrible fall at Turffontein on Wednesday evening in the running of the Gr2 Gauteng Guineas when his mount Al Borak broke down, looks to be on the road to recovery.
His Stepfather Pieter Brown told the Sporting Post earlier today that all scans are clear and that the Doctors were waiting for the Specialist to check Denis’ neck.
“But all looks good and we will keep you informed. We appreciate the interest,” he said.
Al Borak was humanely euthanased.
