Paul Matchett’s star filly War Of Athena and Mike de Kock star Malmoos – coincidentally the pair who made history when winning the 2021 SA Triple Tiara and SA Triple Crown on the same afternoon – were both taken out this morning.

The final declarations are due by 11h00 on Wednesday evening and the final field is expected to be announced early Wednesday evening.
