Met Day – R10 Million Up For Grabs!

The big day on 29 January - your chance to win big

The Met day racecard is on the shelves and regular and casual players will be excited to hear that Hollywoodbets  has extended the popular Punters’ Challenge to incorporate the Cape’s flagship raceday for the second year running.

Players have the chance to win their share of over R10 Million in prize money on the Cape Town Met raceday  on 29 January in South African horseracing’s most popular free-to-enter competition.

The Gr1 Cape Town Met presented by World Sports Betting is the headline event and eleven stars will go head to head for a place in SA Turf history.

And for Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge players, an amount of R10 million will be shared by the player/s who select the winner of all twelves races on the bumper card.

And there is a must-be-won total of R200 000 to be won, with the winner receiving R100 000, and a further R100 000 shared amongst the rest of the top 50 finishers on the day’s leaderboard.

A regular feature at KZN racemeetings, the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge is a free-to-enter tipping competition, requiring players to select one horse from each of the carded races on a race day.

Points are awarded depending on where the selection finishes, with bonus points being awarded for all winners tipped.

The game is open to everyone from the shrewdest form studier, to those enjoying horse racing for the first time. All that is required to enter is an active Hollywoodbets account.

As a means of keeping your eye in, or even warming up for the Met day spectacular, players can also take part in the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Monday 24 January 2022, where an amount of R10 000 will be up for grabs – and of course the progressive jackpot  of R1 250 000 for a 100% selection!
