King’s Apostle Half Sister Sells for 400k Guineas

Amanda Skiffington fought off Charlie Gordon-Watson to get an Oasis Dream (GB) half-sister to G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest winner King’s Apostle (Ire) (King’s Best) for 400,000gns.
The filly was offered for Bernard Kantor’s Wentworth Racing from David and Diane Nagle’s Barronstown Stud. She will remain in Newmarket to go into training after being bought by Skiffington on behalf of U.S.-based owners Roy and Gretchen Jackson of Lael Stables.
“I thought she was the nicest filly in the sale and she will go to William Haggas,” Skiffington said. “It’s some time since I bought a yearling for the Jacksons, but I rang them and said, “Please buy her! ”
