2019 sees the return of the second edition of the exciting Mzansi Super League.

This yearly T20 tournament takes place from mid November and sees the final taking place on the 16th of December.

The league consists of 6 teams from all over South Africa taking part in this thrilling cricket competition.

The six teams are, Jozi Stars lead by Temba Bavuma, Paarl Rocks led by Faf du Plessis, Cape Town Blitz led by Quinton de Kock, Nelson Mandela Bay Giants led by JJ Smuts, Durban Heat led by Dane Vilas and Tshwane Spartans led by Heinrich Klaasen.

The tournament sees each team playing ten matches. Each team will play all of the other teams twice, one game at home and one game away. This year’s tournament will be broadcast on SABC for the whole country to enjoy.

Betway is the official betting partner of the MSL and is currently running Mzansi Super League Predictor promo.

The MSL Predictor is free to play if you have signed up and registered. You simply have to choose which team is going to win from the upcoming list of matches to play. You get five points for every correct prediction, two points for a draw or a draw selection ends in one of the teams winning and no points for incorrect prediction.

The person with the most points at the end of the tournament will win R50 000 in cash, second and third place will also win a cash prize.

South Africa can look forward to more cricket after the Mzansi Super League has finished.

The English are coming to our shores for their tour of South Africa. The English will play the Proteas in four test matches starting on the 26th of December. They two teams will then play three IDO’s and three T20 matches. Australia will be making their way to South Africa after the English tour.

Their tour of SA consists of three T20 and three ODI matches.  South Africans will be hoping that the Mzansi Super League and all of the other matches playing will help prepare the Proteas for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in 2020.

The T20 World Cup will be hosted by Australia between October and November next year.

You can bet on cricket today with the Betway app. The app is easy to download and signing up is a breeze. The app can be used on both IOS and Android devices.
