Calvin And Aristotle Look The Best Today

First due off @ 12h20

The Non-Black Type Mythical Flight Sprint headlines today’s nine-race programme at Turffontein.

The first race is due off at 12h20 with the lucky last set for 17h00. A reminder that selections for the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is due off.

Calvin Habib takes the ride on Aristotle for trainer Alec Laird (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Trainer Alec Laird sends out Aristotle in Race 2 and he looks the best bet on the programme. He tried hard when second over 1600m on this course last time.

He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this distance.

The son of Rafeef is the best-weighted runner in this contest and he should take a power of beating under jockey Calvin Habib.

Trainer Sean Tarry sends out Arctic Silver in Race 3. She stayed on when fourth over 1400m on this course last time.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.

The daughter of Querari has scope and will love the rise to 1800m. She jumps from a good draw of three and may be the one to side with.
