Catch Smith & Zackey In Flight At Fairview Today

First due off @ 12h30

We kick off the new week with an eight-race programme on the Fairview polytrack.

Trainer Gavin Smith and jockey Craig Zackey team up in all eight races with a couple of decent winning chances. The first race is due off at 12h30 with the lucky last set for 16h40.

Barolo from the Gavin Smith yard should give punters a good start to the week. She has finished second in both her efforts to date.

She should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung inwards in the final 250m.

The daughter of Master Of My Fate has scope and if keeping on a straight line, she should go one better.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out Sweet Julia in Race 5. She returns from a 13-week break and is having her first run for the stable.

She is better than her last start over 1200m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack.

She has won once, finished second four times and third once from 11 starts over this distance.

The daughter of What A Winter jumps from pole position and if settled into her new surroundings, she can return to winning ways.

The Smith-Zackey duo will end the day with Flight Display in the lucky last.
