Tarry Hopes To Rock The Globe

Sales feature postponed to 14 December

A capacity field of sixteen will line up on Cape Fillies Guineas Day, 14 December, to contest the R2,5 million CTS Ready To Run Stakes.

The 1400m race, originally scheduled for this Saturday 23 November but delayed due to movement restrictions on Gauteng horses, is restricted to eligible graduates of the 2018 CTS Ready To Run Sales.

Last season’s Premiers Champion Stakes third-placer Rock The Globe is the top-rated runner in the field.

The final field was based on Merit Ratings at the time of declarations. Should there have been a need to favour one over the other with the same rating then number of wins prevail, failing that a draw will take place by ballot.

The race will now be run on the summer course.
