The Hollywoodbets Back On Track Challenge trainer’s log leader Glen Kotzen maintained his fine form with a quick double to open the big feature meeting at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday, 28 June 2020.
Kotzen paid tribute to Maine Chance stallion Vercingetorix who produced the exacta in the R75 000 Durban Dash, a non black-type 1100m feature that opening the top billing menu on the day.

Referring to his end-to-end winner Celtic Voyager, Glen said that he had run him in a strong Pinnacle Plate the other day and that he had needed the outing that day.
“Vercingetorix is showing his stripes as a top sire. And well done to Justin Vermaak – he bought the colt from Maine Chance – and he has the brother as well.”
Winning Form-sponsored Warren Kennedy said that when the expected leader missed the break, he took advantage of the tail wind.
Celtic Voyager (20-1) went all the way to hold fellow Capetonian Binoche to a length in a time of 66,67 secs.
The winner was a R150 000 National Yearling Sale graduate. He is out of the three-time winning Black Minnaloushe mare, Cat’s Paw.
