The opening day of the long delayed 2020 Emperors Palace National 2yo Sale in Johannesburg on Thursday saw a R1,1 million Silvano colt top the buyer’s charts.
Jehan Malherbe’s Form Bloodtsock signed the chit at R1,1 million for #100, a Wilgerbosdfrift and Mauritzfontein-bred colt by our recently retired multiple champion sire out of a dual Gr1 winning Rock Of Gibraltar half-sister to unbeaten Gr2 winner Harbour Watch. This is the family of Fort Wood, Dubai Millennium and Timber Country.

There were 200 lots catalogued, with the aggregate totalling R18 680 000. The average was R115 309 and the median R67 500
