Fortune May Favour Kaiboy In Winter

First due off @ 11h30

The local racemeeting previously carded for Tuesday takes place today at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth.

The first on this ten-race two-feature programme is due off at 11h30 and selections for the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is off.

Trainer Candice Bass-Robinson sends out Kaiboy in the Non-Black Type Winter Sprint.

He stayed on when fifth over 1100m on this course last time. He has won once and finished second once from three starts over this course and distance.

It is encouraging that Andrew Fortune is booked to ride, as his riding style may suit the son of One World.

If all goes according to plan, he can return to winning ways.

Clair De Lune from the Justin Snaith stable takes her place in Race 4 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She stayed on when second over this course and distance last time but found one too good in the form of Rikkitikkitavi.

The well-bred daughter of Trippi has some class about her and she can go one better in this line-up.

  • Richard Fourie – not riding in Race 9 and Race 10 only – Stipes permission
  • Louis Mxothwa – not riding in Race 10 only – Stipes permission
