Garrix from the Piet Steyn stable takes his place in the Gr3 Legal Eagle Stakes. He won a good race in the Gr3 Variety Club Mile last time.

That was his first start as a gelding. He finished second in his only attempt over this course and distance.

The son of Vercingetorix jumps from a good draw of two and he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Paul Reeves sends out Country Time in Race 8. She finished 0.9 lengths behind Winteronthegreen last time.

She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

4kgs claiming apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane retains the ride and she can return to winning ways.

Please note that Ashton Arries and Craig Bantam are not riding today.
