Newsflash: Liege Is Out

Blow to July candidate's prep

Sean Tarry’s Vodacom Durban July candidate Liege has been scratched from Saturday’s Gr1 Gold Challenge.

The son of Dynasty is ineligible to race in KZN until obtaining a Barrier Trial Certificate in view of the local rule governing horses rested 150 days or more.

Owned by multiple July winning owner Chris van Niekerk, Liege has not raced since winning the Gr1 Sansui Summer Cup in November 2017.
