An exciting nine-race two-feature programme is scheduled on the Fairview turf track this afternoon with the first due off at 11h50.

My Best Shot from the Alan Greeff stable takes his place in the World Sports Betting Listed East Cape Derby.

He finished strongly to win the Listed Bryanston Auctioneers East Cape Guineas last time.

The son of Fire Away is the class horse in this contest. He should have no issues with the rise to 2400m and should take a power of beating.

Trainer Jurgen van Heerden sends out Dumisani in Race 4. She has been taking on stronger company in her last three starts. Her best form has come over this distance.

The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade takes a big drop in class and gets the services of Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Malesela Katjedi.

She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
