Flash Lightning from the Jacques Strydom yard represents decent each way value in Race 6. He stayed on at the business end over 1000m on this course last time.
It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.
Both his career victories have come on this course. He will love the rise to 1400m and Marco van Rensburg may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
