Greeff’s One World Filly Takes On The Boys

First due off @ 12h30

Eight races are carded on the Fairview polytrack this afternoon with the due off at 12h30 and the lucky last set for 16h40.

Alan Greeff and Richard Fourie team up in seven races and the combination have a few decent winning chances.

Trainer Alan Greeff sends out Ono No Komachi in Race 7.

She followed up her maiden victory with a creditable sixth-place finish over 1900m on this course.

The way she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

She should love the extra 100m on offer and if not too far out of her ground turning for home, she should give the males a run for their money.

Heemstede from the Alan Greeff stable takes his place in Race 6 and he is the possible Pick 6 banker.

He ran a good race when second in his local debut over this distance on the turf.

He cost himself winning that day as he over raced in the early stages and hung in the straight.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.

The son of Potala Palace meets the right field and if taking to the polytrack, he should be the one to beat.
