Gr1 Finish – Here’s The Photo

Thekwini Stakes stretches Judges' eyesight

Saturday’s feature season finale at Hollywoodbets Greyville produced some grandstand finishes, one of which had a contentious outcome.

The Sporting Post was contacted by a handful of readers who expressed some unhappiness at the awarding of the fourth race, the Gr1 Thekwini Stakes, to Canadian Summer ahead of Rock The Fox.

The quality is not 100% in this particular image and Canadian Summer’s leg blurs the definition of Rock The Fox’s nose on the line. The latter is in the green and blue.

Eagle-eyed Commentator Craig Peters seemed unsure, but leant towards Rock The Fox.

You be the judge.
