Kotzen’s Catman Set To Pounce Today

Bipot starts in first at 12h40

Racing today is at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the polytrack and eight races are carded.

The Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge  is free to play, but please get your entry in early!

The first is due off at 12h40.

The in-form stable of Glen Kotzen send out Captain Catman in Race 2 and he is the best bet on the programme.

Glen and Kathi Kotzen – could have a good day today!

He raced from a handy position last time, but found one too good in the form of Parmenion. The son of Captain Of All should have no issues with the rise to the mile. He meets the right field and is the horse to beat.

Royal Kitty from the Alyson Wright yard may be the horse to close off the meeting. She finished 0.5 lengths behind Arctic Princess in her penultimate run.

She is 6kgs better off at the weights and should turn the form around. She should strip much fitter and may be the one to side with.

Please note that Apprentice Donald  Geerthsen has ridden his 20th winner and will now claim 2.5kg.
