The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa (NHA) confirms that at an Inquiry held in Gqeberha on Friday, 20 June 2025, Jockey C Little was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.

The particulars being that, whilst riding DARLING HARBOUR, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to THREE CHEERS (L Mxothwa) and LADY ZULTANITE (*B Plaatjies) when he shifted in at the 1800m in Race 5 at Fairview Racecourse on 13 June 2025.
Jockey Little pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of the charge.
After considering the evidence, including Jockey Little’s recent record in relation to this Rule, the Inquiry Board imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of ten (10) days.
Jockey Little was given the Right of Appeal against both the finding and the penalty imposed.
