The 2013/14 KZN Racing Awards will be held at the Elangeni Hotel on Thursday 11 September.

SA Horse Of The Year Legislate has received multiple nominations and he looks set to add to his silverware.

Gold Cup winner Wavin’ Flag could gain some compensation by beating Hot Ticket as champion stayer, while local heroine Beach Beauty faces stiff opposition from brilliant Equus Champion Sprinter Via Africa in the champion older female category.

KZN is the only racing province in South Africa with four individual training awards and there will be plenty of interest amongst the locals to grab a final slice of the Clairwood history.
