W. Cape Equine Trust

On behalf of the Western Cape Equine Trust (W.C.E.T.), we extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the race sponsors, donors of stallion services, training fees, royalties, paintings, wines and other prizes, as well as to all those who attended our fund-raising charity race day on Sunday 2nd December 2012.

The monies raised will be used to fund the horse care unit situated at the Cape of Good Hope S.P.C.A. The running cost of the H.C.U. exceeds 1 million rand per annum. The unit cares for and houses abused and neglected equines of all sorts. We run rehabilitation and re-homing programs for these equines, as well as retired thoroughbred race horses.

On behalf of the W.C.E.T Committee.
