Racing In KZN Capital City Today

The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h20

Racing takes place at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon and nine races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 11h45.

Trainer Corrie Lensley sends out Sonic Jet in Race 7. She was far from disgraced when sixth in the Grade 2 HKJC World Pool Tibouchina Stakes last time.

She raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish.

The daughter of Erupt drops back in class and from her good draw of three, she may be hard to peg back.

The Mask from the Glen Kotzen stable takes his place in Race 4. He finished 2.2 lengths behind Mar Del Plata last time.

He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter.

The blinkers remain fitted and he may be the one to beat.

Please note that Andrew Fortune, Nicholas Patel and Denis Schwarz are not riding today.
