Sire families sparkle down under

Unbeaten 3yo filly Atlantic Jewel brought her tally of win to five in the Gr2 Wakeful Stakes at Flemington on Saturday.
The Fastnet Rock filly has the same 3rd dam as new local sire King’s Apostle.
On the same day 6yo entire Glass Harmonium won the A$1 million Gr1 MacKinnon Stakes, sponsored by Longines.
Formerly trained by Sir Michael Stoute, the horse’s grandam is half sister to Spectrum.
And top the connections on the day, the $1.5 million Victoria Derby, was won by the 3yo gelding Sangster, who is out a Spectrum mare
