Mike De Kock sends out the rose amongst the Gr2 Post Merchants thorns at Greyville tonight!
The R350 000 Gr2 Drill Hall Stakes has attracted a field of fifteen runners, many of whom are using this event as their stepping stone to other things.
Sprinting may not occupy the same level of passion as that lavished on other disciplines within the sport of kings, but the fast set get their centre-stage under lights at Greyville on Friday evening.
It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
There’s lots more to play for!
