A terrific weekend of racing with the running of the 2016 Raffles Cup, and while the best middle distance horses will strut their stuff at Group 1 level on Sunday, some handy sprinters make Friday’s meeting well worth a look.
While a the better races on the card include a cracking Open Poly Sprint and an intriguing BM89 event over 1800m, a lowly Class 5 mile (race 6) may offer one of the better bets on the night.
