Back with a bang – that’s the message from the KZN Yearling Sale with its new Million Rand Race incentive. Just under 200 yearlings grossed some R13 million, with averages well up from preceding years.
If the first three yearling sales of 2012 are anything to go by, nothing much has changed since last year for the majority of vendors. Median prices (which negate the effect of extreme prices) are rock-steady.
