Tarry’s Trajanus Could Be The Good Start

First due off @ 11h40

Racing takes place on the Turffontein today with a nine-race programme carded on the Standside course.

The main event of the day is the 4Racing Gr3 Jubilee Stakes.

The first is due off at 11h40 with the lucky last set for 16h20.

Trainer Sean Tarry sends out Trajanus in the first (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Trajanus from the Sean Tarry stable should give punters a good start to the day. He made the trip to Hollywoodbets Scottsville on debut.

He showed good speed, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Little Boy Blue.

The son of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer St John Gray sends out Palace Prince in Race 4. He caught the eye when third over 1200m at the Vaal on debut.

He lost two lengths leaving the gates but finished off his race strongly.

The son of Potala Palace would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should go close.

Punters are asked to note that the Equator (4) in the eighth race is regarded as a previously raced runner for exotic bets purposes.
