Hit The Finishing Line On Cheltenham Day 2

Gr1 Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase

Day two of the Cheltenham Festival is run today and features seven fantastic races.

The feature event is the Gr1 Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase, which looks set to be yet another thrilling renewal.

Everyone loves a superstar grey and last year’s popular winner Politologue will be bidding to retain his crown for Paul Nicholls and John Hales after his poignant success 12 months ago.

He’s likely to face a legion of challengers though, including a dual winner of the race in Altior and an emerging trio of First Flow, Nube Negra and Chacun Pour Soi.

The supporting card features two novice events with a fine record for producing stars of the future in the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle and the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase, while the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase is also on the bill.

The race is like no other at The Festival™, being run on a specialist course that features unique obstacles and potentially throwing up a mouth-watering rematch between Easysland and the dual Randox Grand National hero Tiger Roll.

Andrew, Dave and Tom – hosts of The Finishing Line podcast sponsored by Hollywoodbets –  are here to guide you through the 2021 Cheltenham Festival.

Follow them over the course of four-day racing extravaganza for insights, analysis and fallout with a side serving of shenanigans.
