The start of the week saw a disruption to the local racing calendar as inclement weather caused havoc across most of the Nation. But, we are back on track today with a nine-race programme carded on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack.
The first is due off at 12h15 and selections for the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is off.

Trainer Dean Kannemeyer sends out French Flame in Race 4. He was doing his best work late when fourth over 1600m on this course last time.
He has won once and finished third twice from five starts over this distance. He would have come on from his last outing and should strip much fitter.
He gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which may do the trick. If keeping on a straight line and with Craig Zackey in the irons, he should be the horse to beat.
Lions Eye from the Stuart Ferrie stable takes his place in Race 8. He ran a fair race in his comeback run over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.
He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. The son of Silvano won his maiden over this distance.
He takes a drop in class and with luck in running, he can return to winning ways.
