Waterlogged track
The race meeting scheduled for the Vaal today has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
This follows continuous heavy rain on the Highveld from Monday afternoon onward – and more rain forecast for the whole of Tuesday.
Track inspections at both the Vaal and Turffontein courses were conducted at 8am and the decision to scrap the meeting was taken immediately.
