Steyn 3yo Will Stay In Cape For Winter

🙂 Hey Sharp George

John is right this time...

I think Wolf Power is also Hilton Witz's all time favorite maybe even William Milkovitch
Now these are BIG names in SA, very high Merit Ratings

John won't like my July tip, he said that horse will not win a Gr1 ever again 🙂 Add the jockey that only converts 'penalty kicks' in

Blinkers Oversight – Chief Stipe Says No Excuses

How refreshing it is to read "we stuffed up". Sometimes that's all it takes to claim back credibility. Nobody is perfect, so stop acting like you are. I'm looking at you NHA, Handicappers, Stipes.
Good on you Mr. Rodrigues. Detection failed but root cause still sits with the

Frankie Zackey... If anyone is disappointed it's me,,I really believed that he'll be a massive runner in the July...Hearing from one of the connections just recently,, they've decided to go a different route,,and if things happen to map out as planned,, then there's a possibility that they might be thinking of a overseas campaign...From my side i can only wish them the very best of luck going

Taking nothing away from the winner but you have to feel for the connections of the 2nd horse as the Poinsettia has forever been at weight for age plus penalties but clearly this year the new boys on the block have decided to make natal the handicap region while preserving cape as the Wfa region...No announcement nothing about this and i don't expect the press to pick up on this ...There is way too much fingering with the race program and this has been going on for decades now and I'm surprised the breeders association do not make a noise about it as it affects the stud book in no uncertain terms...Just this morning i was watching replays of empress club firstly beating the colts in the SA guineas and then a few weeks later beating the fillies in the fillies guineas in the natal season ..The entire feature program needs a major overhaul as this clumping of features on one day is rubbish and takes away horses achieving a lot more at the top

This was one the Capes worst kept secrets - the usual suspects have known this for a while.

It's like the latest regarding Immediate Edge - has he been gelded - will he run in the DN or Jubilee - the usual suspects seem to know

HI Mr Ed. All punters know the risk of Pre-noms betting. But punters make decisions based on information. The more information the better the decision. Just like the stock market. On channel 240 they always talk about transparency. For races where Pre-noms betting is available will it not be a good idea to provide updated information on horses on a platform like X if the stable would want to share with the public. There are only a couple of stables in SA which has active accounts on X and they do provide good info on that platform. A punter can then follow them on X and obtain critical information. X is free and wont add to any cost. The next generation also use X as a tool in their daily life extensively. Would be good idea to request all stables to use a tool like this. We need the next generation to also get connected to racing in

Hi John
There is no onus on connections to declare medium term plans and it is their prerogative to run their horse where and when they choose. Plans can change too. We have seen that happen over the years. On the flipside, because a horse is an entry, doesn't mean he is a definite runner if he gets in, either. Ante-post pre-noms betting comes with its value and risks.

Impeccably bred indeed.. The sire(Geoff) "horse of the year" 5 times-winning SUMMER CUP for 4 consecutive years (5 in total).I remember when he 1st stepped out...his 1st 4 runs was all wins.He made his opposition look "ordinary" - not forgetting jockey Mark Khan ..The damsire(Terence Millard)...Serious

Why do the public only hear this now ??? He was in all the bookmakers markets before the nominations. There should be serious questions asked around why this is kind of practise us allowed !!! But we know nothing will come of this again. This should have been declared to the public in the first day the pre noms betting was available and he should have been removed from the betting. At his current MR even going up 10-12 pointa he would have been the best handicapped horse in the July. We need a forum were punters can ask direct questions to trainers and get immediate feedback..Not the first time this kind of info is kept from the public. What recourse do punters have in this kind of scenario ?? Now suddenly Garrix is backwards and immature... the only top 3 yo in CT that cant travel ?? But again punters must just stay in their lane and accept all the punishment.
