Tarry Makes It Three Feature Victories

The racing ed. SIR,
The ""NON-MARKETING""... and the ""NON-CHALANT"" attitude shown by that ""LAISSEZ FAIRE"" group of people entrusted with the overburdened and overtaxed S.A. punter"s BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS HARD-EARNED-MONEY is SOME of what has brought this once flourishing, loved business to the sorry state it is in.

At fault are the ADMINISTRATORS, PRESENTERS, RACE CALLERS and the horde of FALSE CELEBRITIES roped in to ""bolster"" the game.

1) Once the endless nagging, begging for one and all to punt the exotics, that is that...!!!
2) Once the pools are closed nary a one of the above will tell you what the WILL PAYS are...!!! Not the presenter, the race caller or the""interviewee""...!!!
3) The producers in the studios (mobile or fixed) do not bother to ""effect"" the scrolling of ERRATIC showing of the WILL PAYS on TV"s. Either skip them altogether or not bother at all.
4) Once the day"s racing is over...the race callers call it a day by saying...""that brings to a close blah blah blah... we race again on blah blah blah. GODNIGHT.!!!"".
5) NOT A PEEP to the lucky ones to have caught the ""ABNORMAL"" jackpots, p/a"s or
p/6 es of R--1m...or half a Rm or even a 1/4 Rm...!!!
NO.!!! ...
THEY GOT YOUR MONEY, TOOK IT AND BUGGER YOU CHARLIE.!!!

No wonder I sadly left the game after ACTIVELY partaking of it for 65 long hard years...
Tally

Following this logic Oriental Charm should have been unplaced last year and about 6 of the last 10 years winners should not have won. Horses improve a lot in the last 2 months before the July. Proven over and over

I compare Garrix and Montien not being the noms to Rory Mcilroy not entering the Masters. These 2 would be 2 of the leading contenders does nor matter how anybody tried to argue it. If they were nominated the betting on both would have been short. But why not even have them in the noms when there are horses with 0% chance of making the final field being nominated. This is crazy !!! Not good for

That would put Garrix in front of Eight on Eighteen on the last time they met. 4kg shift for 3 lengths. That is to say if Eight on Eighteen runs in the July. ( Not his mission ). Garrix will also still rise in MR over nest 2 months. See it Again is out of

Lerena To Appeal Gates Crop Incident Findings And Penalties

Ok then what about the horses safety and well being, are horse supposed to be whipped the jockey of a another horse, or bumped and impeded that equates to match fixing, it has no place in our sport. JG/GvN are the guilty offenders here, GL simply let his passion for the game overflow in the heat of the

Garrix is currently a 109 - Eight on Eighteen is a 127. If they both ran - Garrix would carry 53 and Eighteen - 57.

That would make Garrix 5 kgs out - more than 10 lengths over the July distance - I suppose after the gelding he could improve.

Even with See it Again he would be 4 kgs

Looking at some of these ratings versus betting - it's crazy - but it's obviously going to change in the next weeks.

8 on 18 carrying 57 makes him currently a couple of lengths in on the handicap - but the Snaith's older horses carrying 54 and 55 could be the ones to look at from his yard - Future Swing and others.

If Sail the Seas gets to 117 - he gets 4 kgs / 8 lengths + from the Met winner - that makes him very interesting based on the Cape Derby result.

Immediately Edge - 101 - what's his route into the race - he didn't run in the SA Classic and got thrashed in the Derby - I suppose it's the MDK effect but he should be much higher in the betting.

Our old friend See it Again has got his 3rd jockey in 6 months - the trainer remains the

Disappointing that Montien, Garrix or Master Redoute (my pre-entry fancy) have not been entered.
Still look forward to the build up and the final field announcement.
Looking at the entries even now it seems there will be some very disappointed connections when this is made.
Why has Strydom been taken off See It

IN EVERY SPORT ...NOTE !! You have the right to appeal...he knows accepts guilt BUT he has the right to appeal severity .. and more than likely what transpired between him and gates... not cut and dry ...It's his choice no matter who does not like it. Would any one commenting appeal against a 100 k fine for instance ..absolutely every one would. So that's his
