I am sorry but in the heat of a race finish, you can't expect the jockey to ride and win a race and count how many times they have used their crop/whip...
I think there should be a leniency if horse is being ridden to a finish and its one over...
Reading the reports you often see 13 smacks...

Very interesting read, it's not easy to prep for the winter season and especially Hollywood Bets Greyville Race Course for it's big events. Hats off to the grooms and trainers.
South African breeders have bred many champions who won with top weight, is that the reason we didn't see the magnificent Horse Chestnut race at Greyville.
I invite Mike DE Kock to comment on this issue.
My parting shot, Justin Snaith was well 'trained' on how to swank and shine.

I must say, I like the gelding by The United States from the Weiho Marwing stable Navajo Nation for setting the pace in the July race and I must say I liked the way he disposed of Tamarisk Tree with Muzi Yeni in the irons the last time at Turffontein. I hope everything goes well with this gelding and hopefully wins again on sunday to guarantee qualification for the July race. If he gets in, it should be a hot pace in the July and the best horse will surely Win and could be one of the best julys ever! So lets go banker Navajo Nation on sunday, Turffontein
