Woodruff Starts The Day With A Wing Walker

First due off @ 12h15

We’re on the poly at Hollywoodbets Greyville today with the first on the day’s eight-race programme due off at 12h15.

A reminder that your free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge selections must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is off.

Lucky Fish-sponsored Trainer Lucinda Woodruff sends out Wing Walker in Race 1.

He moved up like a winner over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time, before getting caught late by Yippee Kiyay.

The horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.

With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

Riccardo from the Dennis Bosch stable takes his place in Race 6.

He stayed on at the finish over 1900m on the turf last time. He finished second over this course and distance in his penultimate run.

The 7yo gelding has cracked a good draw of three and if not too far out of his ground turning for home, he can return to winning ways.

  • Richard Fourie – Not riding in Race 6 only – Stipes permission
  • Andrew Fortune – Medically indisposed

  • Race: 1 – #6 SHINY SILVA – rested for 234 days – sensitive back which affected her action
