Silver Mountain wins the Choice Carriers Championship

Mike Bass’s exciting Silvano filly Silver Mountain, who won such an outstanding race from a wide draw in the Gr2 Choice Carriers Championship, has drawn 11 and Aldo Domeyer retains the ride.

Her stablemate Taffety Tart, who flew up for third in the Choice Carriers, has drawn pole position here and could go very close over the extra 200m.

The pair face the unbeaten Dynasty filly Noor, who Mike De Kock travels after two impressive wins in Gauteng.

De Kock will be keen to open his feature Summer Of Champions account after a few disappointing performances so far.

Justin Snaith and Bernard Fay’herbe team up with the Dynasty filly Bela-Bela, labelled the best 3yo filly in the country by top heavyweight jockey, Bernard Fayd’herbe.

She is also unbeaten in two starts and downed the boom filly Chevauchee in exciting style last time.
