Muzi Will Have To Wait A Bit Longer

10 March looks a likely return date

South Africa’s highest work-rate rider for many seasons, Muzi Yeni has been kicking his heels for almost three months under a suspension imposed for an in-race incident involving SA Champion, Lyle Hewitson.

Now it seems Yeni will have to wait even longer to recommence his career after an NHA Inquiry Review Board confirmed a ten day suspension incurred for an infringement of rule 62.2.7 on 20 August last year at Turffontein.

As the rider of Snow In Seattle,  Yeni failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to Hot August in the concluding stages. He is thus suspended from riding in races for a period of ten days from 29 February 2020 to 9 March 2020, both days inclusive.
