Trainer Weichong Marwing sends out American Rebel in Race 6 under jocket Gavin Lerena.

He was an easy winner over this distance on the Inside course last time. He raced from a handy position, quickened up well and drew clear.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.

The son of Rebel King jumps from pole position and he can follow up.

Salute The Flag from the Candice Dawson stables takes his place in Race 5.

He ran in a Graduation Plate over 1400m on this course last time and was far from disgraced. He finished second in his only attempt over this course and distance.

The son of Flying The Flag returns to handicap company and with Piere Strydom in the saddle, he may be the one to beat.
