Snaith’s Regulation Can Boost Big Race Claims Today

First off at 11h50

Hollywoodbets Greyville plays host to a nine-race programme on the turf track this afternoon.

The main event of the day is the WSB Gr3 1900 which is always a good pointer for the Hollywoodbets Durban July.

A few Snaith chirps, including a reference to today’s WSB 1900:

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge with the first due off at 11h40.

Hollywoodbets Durban July entry Regulation from the Justin Snaith stable takes his place in Race 8.

He has this third run in the Bortz silks after being sold by the Fosters.

Regulation is seen winning in the Foster silks – he lines up today in the Bortz colours (PIc – Chase Liebenberg)

His last two starts have been good. He was reported to have choked up last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since.

The son of Legislate jumps from a good draw of four today and if suited to this course, he should be competitive. He would certainly need to win this if his Hollywoodbet Durban July dream is to remain alive.

Trainer Sean Tarry sends out Gerbera in Race 5.

She is better than her last start in the Gr2 Wilgerbosdrift Bridget Oppenheimer SA Oaks as she was reported to be fatigued.

The daughter of One World showed promise earlier in her career under Craig Zackey.

She has class about her and is likely to be settled near the rear of the field. She will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Jason Gates will not be riding today.
