Highveld Feature Season Awards ’25 – All The Winners

The Ndoro Stud-bred son of Wilgerbosdrift’s War Front stallion Fire Away, Alec Laird-trained Fire Attack dominated the 2025 Highveld Feature Season Awards at Turffontein on Saturday evening, winning three awards, including Horse Of The Season.

Winner of the HKJC World Pool Gr1 Premier’s Champions Challenge, Fire Attack was a model of consistency throughout the season. He was taken out of the Hollywoodbets Durban July at first declarations on Monday 12 May.

The Ridgemont team also had plenty of reason to celebrate on the evening as the Rafeef colt Esteemed took the honours in the champion juvenile male category, while another Ridgemont Rafeef product in the form of the perennial crowd favourite, and recent Gr1 Computaform Sprint star, William Robertson lifted two awards.
